Kî Hô`alu (Slack key) guitar master; kumu (teacher) - Solomon Kawaihoa, known on Maui as "Uncle Sol", works at Wailuku's Bailey House Museum sharing his knowledge of Hawaiiana and his music with visitors from around the world. Uncle Sol has been playing slack key guitar since he was a small child. His guitar playing & vocal style is very much like that of Gabby Pahinui - so if you are a fan of Gabby's, you'll really enjoy this cd. It is very soulful, heartfelt Hawaiian music.
